Carson is 2

Well Carson turned two on Sunday and needless to say he had a riot! He knew that the whole day was about him and was loving all the attention. We had all of his favorite foods, my parents were here and Libby Charlie and Lua came over to celebrate. Carson got plenty of presents from everyone in the mail (thanks for thinking of him). Matt and I took Lua and Carson to the Target Center to see Sesame Street Live. They were so excited when they saw all the characters! Sorry that the pictures are not in order!

20 week Ultrasound

As most of you know Matt and I are expecting our second child in the end of May... May 30th. Well we are at the half way mark and recieved an ultrasound this morning. I would like to announce that Carson will be having a baby Brother!!! It is a BOY!!!! Both Matt and I are very excited! I scanned the pictures and thought I would share them. I hope you can make everything out. The ultrasound woke him up from a nap so one of the pictures we have he is holding up his finger to his mouth, it looked like he was trying to shoosh us! But after that he started moving around a lot and the tech said that his active movements were making the pictures a bit fuzzy! He just might take after his big brother!

Winter Wonderland???

Well this winter has been pretty fun. Carson is getting so big!! He loved going to the Mary Poppins Exhibit at the Downtown Macy's and ended up going to it 3 times. There was a couple scenes that would appear and disappear. He would watch it and ask everyone around him, " Where did it go?" With his arms stretched out to his sides. He is back in his JW Tumbles class and is trying hard to learn how to jump like the big boys (he is in a class with kids 6mo older than him). He also has enjoyed going to the Childrens Museum and celebrating Lua's 2nd Birthday! We tried making sugar cookies with Lua, Carson, and Evelyn... but Lua was the only one who seemed interested. Christmas was very fun Carson recieved many toys!!! He loves all of them especially his train table, drums, electric guitar, and a piano with microphone. we have a jam session every morning after breakfast. Carson has been reading many winter books and shows that talk about snow and sledding... he was so excited and asked when the snow was coming and wanting to go sledding. Finally, New Years Eve night Carson got a late Christmas present... snow. We spent about 2 hours New Years Day sledding and playing in the snow! Carson loved to eat it!
